Jenny is an Associate in the firm’s Maritime/Litigation Department. Her practice includes a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters as well as litigation defense. She represents clients with needs in both state and federal court. Recognizing the importance of preparedness and precision, Jenny devotes her technical abilities and attention to detail to maximize value for her clients.
Jenny received her J.D. (cum laude) from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary, where she served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Women and the Law, and as a Teaching Assistant for the Trial Advocacy Program. After law school, Jenny completed a one-year clerkship with the Norfolk Circuit Court. She utilizes the knowledge and experience gained from her clerkship experience when providing advice and advocating for her clients.
Jenny is an active member of the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association, serving on the Bench Bar, Continuing Legal Education, Pro Bono, and Programs Committees.
To compliment her professional involvements, Jenny demonstrates her commitment to service by giving back to her community. She coaches Norfolk Special Olympics athletes in basketball, soccer, and track & field. She also serves on the local Special Olympics Area 2 Board. In addition to her extensive involvement with Special Olympics, Jenny also gives back in various capacities to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia where she serves on the philanthropy and Legal Food Frenzy committees.
Prior to attending law school, Jenny earned her B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. She is also a longtime Virginia resident and involved in the local community.
