Blake is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Government Contracts group. His practice includes REAs, federal Miller Act claims, NAICS code appeals, suspension/debarment issues, export controls, ethics/compliance counseling, and bid protests at all levels of government. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Blake values personal relationships and prioritizes people above all else.
Blake received his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary, where he served as student body president and as a member of the Bill of Rights Journal. Blake also competed on the school’s National Trial Team, winning Best Advocate at Georgetown University Law Center’s 2014 White Collar Crime Invitational. While attending law school, he worked in the legal departments of both Huntington Ingalls Industries and Newport News Shipbuilding.
Blake earned his B.A. (summa cum laude) in Political Science from the University of Louisville. He studied abroad at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, and at Renmin University of Beijing, China.
